Festival goers came out in their droves for the Kilkenny outdoor music festival in Castlecomer during the August bank holiday. For its fourth consecutive year in the running, it followed through on its promise in providing a weekend of entertainment, full with well known music artists and songwriters for everyone to enjoy.
The weekend kicked off on Saturday 3rd August 2019, with the infamous Hudson Taylor, followed by The Frank & Walters, The Alkove & Liam Geddes. Amongst these artists was local Kilkenny man and rising star DJ Welshy who also took part in the festival and together they provided an exceptional weekend of fun, laughter and craic. The gates of Erin’s Own GAA Club grounds were open from 6pm on Saturday evening, which was the venue for the outdoor music Saturday evening events.
As if that wasn’t enough, the entertainment was continued on Sunday 4th August 2019 with live music from Paddy Casey in the recently restored Avalon House Hotel, in the heart of Castlecomer town. All tickets were available to purchase online or locally in some of Castlecomer selected businesses/shops.
