Dick Dooley Butchers was established in 2004 when Mr. Dick Dooley himself opened his first butchery business in Ballyragget. His business later relocated to Castlecomer in 2010, to which it has been providing both the local people and drive through customers with top quality fresh and wholesome food.
The Castlecomer store not only provides a wide selection of raw meat, all locally sourced farm produce, but also strives itself in catering for those busy days on the go, with precooked ready made wholesome meals e.g. roast dinners, homemade pies and salads, ready for you to buy and reheat, all at reasonable and affordable prices. The local butcher strives himself in producing locally sourced food from surrounding farm and food produces, supporting the local businesses of Castlecomer.
Dick Dooley Butchers also caters for a number of events, both privately and business events. Their catering service, provides the a choice in foods options such as finger food, full roast dinner, choice in BBQ food, cold meat platters, sandwiches and a breakfast option.
