Castlecomer’s landmark attraction, Discover Park offers a vast range of fun and educational activities for kids and adults of all ages.
As well as thrilling zipline rides and ropewalks through the treetops, climbing walls and mountain biking trails, the park hosts a range of more leisurely activities. These include archery, boating and walking through the stunning riverside and woodlands.

Coal Mining Museum
As a mining town, Castlecomer was literally built on coal. No visit would be complete without a visit to the museum. Starting with the formation of the coal 300 million years ago, the museum brings the visitor through more than 300 years of Castlecomer’s rich coal mining history.
